Welcome to my "House of A R T " in Croatia!

The village of Sabunike is a sweet tourist destination located 15 km from Zadar, in North Dalmatia region, known for its lounges sandy beaches, its beautiful landscapes, preserved nature, clear and warm sea, and a wind that gently blows all the time making the air frias!

If you're a fan of water sports , unspoiled nature, sailing arround islands, long walks by the sea, you like to play beach volley...the village of Sabunike is a place for you!!

There are numerous cycling tours that will allow you to discover surrounding islands and atypic dalmatian villages...on b i k e !

Have confidence in my sport and curious minde, and let me to show you Croatia in a special way far away from turistic crowd!!

House of Art is in an ideal position ,located 400 m form the beach and there are many things to visit in surrounding area:
- a historic towen of Zadar
- Nationals Pracs ( Kornati, Paklenica, Krka, Plitvicka jezera)
- the Island of Pag
-the Island of Vir
-rafting on the river of Zrmanja
-a towen of Nin...

What marks my life is sport, art and travel...all of this you will found in the atmosphere of my home!

The house is decorated in an Ethnic style and is a reflection of my travels arounde the world over the pass 20 years.

Discover the coast and countryside on a bicycle!!!
Let's go together in an adventure to explore the nearby islands , towens, wild nature, saltwater bays,red rocks...on b i c y c l e s!!!
Or, why not to go to the National Parc of Paklenica and climb the beautifull rocks...?
You have the possibility to rent a bikes or equipment for free climbing...while staying in my house of Art...

Why "Art & Récup"?
- with wooden pallets I made beds
- with old wooden planks I built shelves
-with bear caps I decorated an old surfboard
-I used parts of old furniture ,painted them and I turned them into works of Art
-most of the furniture I found on the streets of Europe and Africa and restored it...
-as has a Eiffel Tower it was made with leftover fill...

Be your own captain, look at the map and decide where you want to sail...
Discover Long island and beautifull bay Sakarun...only 2 hours sailing from Sabunike...
Or choose to sail in "Small Kornati", around the beautifull Island of Vir...

My prices

Do you want to spend your holiday in the idyllic atmosphere ...and at very favorable prices?

If you want to spend days in visiting and just wanted to spend the night in the house, you have the possibility to rent just a room for a small prices ( the price includes the use of the room and bathroom).
If you are an adventurer, you can rent a tent for two people (max.3), located in the courtyard
You can also rent the entire apartment on the first or second floor of the house.

***arrival and departure is generally flexible***
***minimum days to rent is 3 nights***
***tourist tax is not included in my rate - 1 euros per day/adult***
***reservation fee: 30 % in advance, the rest after arrival in cash***

Bad & Breakfast
Depending on the season, there is a possibility to have half-board stay...(Bad & Breakfast).
If you want a break from cooking during the year...just let me know...and I can offer you breakfast at the price of 8 euros/person.
Also, if you want to enjoy the tastes of Dalmatian recipes, but you are not attracted to classic restaurants...I offer you to spend beautiful moments with the hosts of the village,participate in their lifestyle and taste variety of foods!!!

Rent a bike
Discover the coast on a bicycle!
You have the possibility to rent a bikes at a price of 12 euros/per day.
Also, I can be your guide and show you the hidden beach,lost villages,beautiful sunsets, place that are unknown even to local residents...at a price of 20 euros/per day.

Rent camping equipment
You've decided to rent an apartment or room and spend a pleasant holiday in a comfortable design...but...sometimes you wanted adventure and spend the night camping...
Why not?
You can rent camping equipment that contains : tent for two people, double air mattress and two sleeping bags...for the price of 20 eiros/per day.
***in april, may, june,septembre and octobre you have possibility to camping in courtyard of the house***

Travelling to" House of Art" in Sabunike

If traveling by plane, the cheapest options offered by the company RYANAIR !

The city of Zadar is an easily accessible destination by air, land or sea...

Arrival by plane!
The town of Zadar has an international airport called Zemunik...It's a small but modern airport 30 km away from the village of Sabunike.(8 km away from the town of Zadar).
If traveling by plane, the cheapest options offered by the companyRYANAIR !
From April to October you can find a return ticket from 20 euros!
Flights from France : Paris - Bauvaix / Marseille
Flights from Germany : Baden-Baden / Frankfurt / Dusseldorf

You can find lots of flights from major European cities to Zadar and a large number of flying companies : Ryan Air,Wizz Air, Croatia Airlines,germany Wings...

Arrival by car!
With the new highway Zagreb - Zadar(A1),you need just 3 hours to come from Zagreb to Zadar.
After the town of Zadar follow direction Nin - Vir.
Once you have passed Nin, after 2 km on your right is the village of Sabunike...
***Many guests make a mistake, they follow the GPS and instead Sabunike go to Privlaka,because it is a town with his own postal code...the same postal code is also for the village of Sabunike!!!***

Rent a car
If you want to rent a car you have many options and rental agency...
But the best offer given agency ORYX, which is located in Zadar and at the airport!!!
