WELCOME TO BIG ROCK LODGE!
This custom octagonal 3-story, 2+ bedroom, 2-bath home perched on top of a knoll is an architectural gem, with lots of light and all of the bells and whistles! The ground floor entryway features ceramic tile floors with a freestanding gas fireplace and an ad-hoc game room, complete with a ping pong table and plenty of space to store your gear—winter and summer. Ascending the stairwell brings you to the main floor, featuring the master bedroom with 1 king sized bed and a large full-length closet. Step into the generous living room/dining room area with hardwood floors, a beautiful gas fireplace to cozy up to, a large screen monitor with wifi, a hide-a-bed, and 3 sides of windows that bring in lots of natural sunlight—perfect for family entertaining. The unique, fully equipped galley style kitchen features ceramic tile floors and countertops, a separate stove top and oven, as well as a built-in microwave oven. Also included in the kitchen is a laundry cubby with a full size washer and dryer. Finally, the main floor also includes one large full bath. Step up to the third floor and you’ll discover a carpeted bonus room/loft with a queen-sized futon and a DVD/VHS/monitor—perfect for the kids—a large bath, and a unique pine-lined bedroom with 1 queen-sized bed. Just outside the main floor living room is a partial wraparound deck for winding down the day while gazing at the stars, and just out back is a private 6-person outdoor hot tub—perfect for relaxing after a day of some of the best skiing and hiking anywhere! This beautiful and pet friendly family vacation property will sleep 4 to 8 persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy).
PLEASE NOTE: WiFi service is now available to our area, and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. Having said this, the service is currently subject to failure, as the service provider is in the process of dialing everything in. Intermittent service failures are a circumstance that is beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the FREE WiFi SERVICE fails to function properly.
Snowline is a family focused community with plenty of recreational activities. Amenities include a seasonal outdoor heated pool, fishing pond for kids 12 and under, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, children’s playground, and a large playing field. There are plenty of trails throughout the community along with access to the Nooksack River. Snowline is located at the edge of the Snoqualmie National Forest, close to the Mt. Baker Ski Area and spectacular old growth forests, an area rich in history and outdoor opportunities.

WINTER Guests enjoy spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Don't forget your camera...the photography is unsurpassed year-round!

View the gorgeous scenery at your own pace. Mount Baker hosts multiple hiking trails, from easy stretches to experienced only trekking. The Pacific Crest trail goes right through the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie Forest. Check out the trail conditions at the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest or at the Mt. Baker Hiking Club’s site. Take guided hikes or just to meet fellow hikers!

Fishing
The Nooksack river is one of the last wild rivers in Washington state. Five species of wild salmon swim and flourish is its waters. Nearby, you can enjoy Silver Lake, which is stocked with trout. You can even go deep sea fishing!

PAYMENT POLICY:
Upon procuring a reservation, Guest hereby acknowledges that An Advance Reservation Payment equal to 50% of total cost, including tax, is required to reserve a vacation property, and that for regular reservations, the remaining balance is due-in-full 14-days prior to our Guest’s scheduled date of arrival, and is automatically debited to our Guest’s credit/debit card on the scheduled due-date, and that for holiday reservations commencing on December 15th through January 4th, the remaining balance is due-in-full and automatically debited to our Guest’s credit/debit card on December 1st. For legal and accounting purposes, the person placing the reservation must be one in the same as the credit/debit card holder, and that this person is considered to be the Guest. All other persons involved with the rental occasion are considered to be the Guest’s invitees, and all discussion regarding reservation, cancellation, and damage policies will be discussed with the Guest, not the Guest’s invitees.
Reservations are subject to a 2-night minimum stay during regular periods, and a 3-night minimum stay during holiday and special event periods. The person making the reservations must be at least 23 years of age, ID required at time of check-in. If cancellation is received 21 days or longer prior to arrival we will gladly refund your Reservation Payment, less the Gloveler Service Fee charged at the time of booking, and our cancellation fee of $65 or 8% (whichever is greater). 20 through 15 days will forfeit 50% of the Reservation Payment, plus the Gloveler Service Fee charged at the time of booking, unless the home(s) can be re-rented, then only the Gloveler Service Fee charged at the time of booking, and our cancellation fee of $65 or 8% (whichever is greater) will apply. If cancelled 14 days or less you will forfeit full payment unless home(s) can be re-rented. A non-refundable* Cleaning Fee is required at the time of reservation, and is NOT considered to be a component of the Advance Reservation Payment. *refundable only in accordance with our limited Cancellation Policy.
